I have a blueberry cookie recipe and have tried using frozen berries in it. They taste fine but they will not look as pretty. It ends up smearing blue color throughout the cookie. I suspect that may be what happens with the frozen strawberries but can’t say for sure since I have not tried that. I just made these & they are so yummy! I only had large marshmallows & itty-bitty ones (they are actually called ‘micro mini’ marshmallows. We get them at a specialty store, they are like the ones in hot cocoa mix, but soft.) So, I melted the large ones & added the micro mini ones in with the cereal before I added the melted chocolate goodness to it. I didn’t think it would mix very well after the cereal was combined, (and it didn’t) so I’m glad I addded it with the cereal. So this is one of the best cookies I’ve ever tasted, but assembling the cookies was complicated — aka not easy. I agree with a comment above that the whole blueberries made it very difficult to make the ‘base’ of the cookie. And working with dough that was chilled made it even more difficult.
